The ultimate goal of the Tutoring Program is to help each student become an independent life-long learner.
The Tutoring Center offers tutoring in most subject areas taught at San Juan College. For more information on the subject you need help in, please contact one of the listed centers below. Our peer and professional tutors are available to help SJC, GED, and University Program students.
Summer tutoring is offered both face-to-face and online! Starting May 20th - August 9th

To request an appointment with a tutor, online or in-person, please fill out a Tutoring and Technology Coaching Request Form.
Please be aware that for both online and in-person appointments you can expect an email within 24 hours during the week. During the weekends, you can expect an email within 48 hours. Please contact us if you do not receive an email within these times.
Tutoring is a learning partnership. Both the tutor and the student have responsibilities.
- Bring your student ID.
- Bring your textbook.
- Bring helpful and relevant course material such as class syllabi, handouts, assignment sheets, instructor comments.
- Please leave your children at home.
